Humes is a true blue, nationwide company that has a long and proud history spanning more than 100 years in the New Zealand market. With branches spread the length and breadth of the country, we are excited to share that we have now opened our 18th branch at Westgate in Auckland.
“This branch opening means we can better serve and supply our customers in the West of Auckland and adds to our ability (with the amazing Humes Albany team) to supply our Auckland customers well,” explains Lorraine Fitzpatrick Head of Distribution North Island for Humes. “The Westgate location is strategically intended to make dealing with Humes as convenient and easy as possible.”
A growth area …
Andy Lee, Branch Manager for the new Humes Westgate branch says, “Over the next decade Auckland's northwest region—including Whenuapai, Hobsonville, Westgate, Redhills, Kumeū-Huapai, and Riverhead— is expecting considerable growth in not only residential development but the infrastructure to cope with what is expected to be population growth of around 100,000 people … and we will be here to help.”
With the location of the new branch on the northern side of the city, Humes Westgate will also offer the full range of rural products.
The new Humes Westgate means there are now three branches and a customer focused manufacturing plant supporting Humes’ customers in the Auckland region: Westgate, Albany and Penrose.

Kyran is the newest member of the team and a Riverhead local. A customer focused team player, he is your go to guy for all branch-based sales enquiries. |
