Humes’ main manufacturing facility based in Papakura Auckland has completed and commissioned the two key pieces of equipment they have been waiting on - doubling the production capability of the plant.
“Back in 2019/20 we installed our state-of-the-art Radial Press line at our Papakura facility which runs alongside our Vibration Technology (VT) line,” says Sunny Gill, Production Manager for Humes Papakura. “We have now also installed our new reo / rebar steel cage bending machine made by MBK in Germany and a Simem concrete plant. These are now fully commissioned, optimising both lines of our facility.”
“The increased capacity at the plant means much shorter lead times for customers,” says James Patterson, Auckland Regional Sales Manager for Humes. “Give me or any of our Auckland Sales Reps a call and let us know what you need and when you need it.”
