If you are a specifier, designer or asset manager of pipeline systems in New Zealand, you will not want to miss this Information Session as we update industry with information to improve the understanding and ultimate efficiency and effectiveness of all pipeline systems; specifically Steel Reinforced Concrete Pipe (SRCP).
We will introduce some key topics and provide a forum for Q&A by fielding some of the more senior Technical staff from within the CPAA.
The Concrete Pipe Association of Australasia, representing the manufacturers of concrete pipe in New Zealand, is providing a series of brief Technical Information Sessions throughout the country to highlight to industry recent activity of the CPAA and the technical materials available to designers and asset managers for the design and installation of SRCP.
The presenters provide considerable experience in the industry and a deep knowledge of these developments.
Part of the aim of the forum is to create engagement by enabling delegates to ask questions and discuss industry related matters with CPAA members.
The session will cover design of concrete pipe, plastic pipe and the requirements for testing for each material. It will then move into a segment on the CPAA PipeClass software and finally some recent relevant publications from CPAA and other entities.
Key aspects of design methodology (AS/NZS 3725) for designers and specifiers of SRCP. Comparison to the requirements for flexible pipe (AS/NZS 2566).
